(b) Public Hearings and related actions (1) First public hearing to receive comments for and against instituting annexation proceedings for a 3.79 acre tract of land consisting of a portion of Sienna Parkway located south of Fort Bend Parkway and north of Watts Plantation Road. (2) First public hearing to receive comments for or against instituting annexation proceedings for a 34.23-acre tract of land located north of Watts Plantation Road, south of Fort Bend Parkway, east of Sienna Parkway, and west of Oyster Creeks for the limited purpose of the collection of a sales and use tax. (3) Public hearing to receive comments concerning the building and structures at 2115 South Fountain Valley in the City of Missouri City. After receiving comments, City Council will consider declaring the building and structures as substandard and may issue orders as shall appear reasonably necessary to prevent the building and structures from being a hazard to life or property and to eliminate the substandard qualities; and consider an order on the first and final reading. AUTHORIZATIONS (a) Consider authorizing the execution of a contract for administrative support of the Storm Water Management Program. (b) Consider granting an easement to CenterPoint Energy for electrical transmission lines to be located across the Bees Passage right of way.

ORDINANCES (a) Consider an ordinance providing for the assessment, levy, and collection of ad valorem taxes for the City of Missouri City, Texas, for the tax year 2016 and for each year thereafter until otherwise provided; providing the date on which such taxes shall be due and timely paid; authorizing an additional penalty for the collection of delinquent ad valorem taxes in lieu of recovering attorneys’ fees; and consider the ordinance on the first and final reading. (b) Consider an ordinance amending the general budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2016, and ending June 30, 2017; transferring various appropriations among accounts; appropriating supplemental revenue to various fund accounts; authorizing the appropriate city officials to take steps necessary to accomplish such transfers; making certain findings; and containing certain provisions relating to the subject; and consider the ordinance on the first and final reading. 15.
